Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear to my first pole dancing class?
Shorts and a fitted top are good choices. Skin is in, and needed to grip. Eventually, you'll start wearing less. You think you won't, but you will!
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your reservation any time up to 3 hours before class time.
If you cancel less than 3 hours before class, you will lose that class credit. If you have 2 or more late cancels within a 30 day period you will be charged a fee of $20 plus an additional fee of $10 for every additional late cancel within that period.
If you miss class without canceling, you will lose that class credit and be charged a $20 fee.
Do I need to be in shape before I start pole?
Pole dancing requires no previous experience! You don't need upper body strength before you start. Beginners are welcome.
Can I bring a friend along to watch?
THE | BAR is members only. We have a strict no spectator policy for the safety and privacy of our students and instructors.
Do the poles have a weight limit?
Pressure mounted home poles have weight limits, but our professional grade equipment does not. It's bolted in and can hold 2 or 3 people!
What should I sign up for if it's my first class?
We recommend any class marked OF Pole 1. OF stands for Old Fashioned! You'll get a good base and meet great people.
